Reading and thinking...

I'm re-reading the Legacy of the Force series. I have all of the books except for one so it shouldn't be too hard to do. I'll see if the library has the missing one. I'm not sure I'll get all of them read again before Invincible comes out...well, I know I won't with my work schedule. But with the spoilers I've been reading about Invincible, I think I can delay reading it for a while.

But I realized that I couldn't remember a lot of the background information given in the earlier books, I read them much too fast. Everything's done too fast nowadays, have you noticed? Or perhaps it's just my mind speeding along too quickly to absorb everything it should. I get the general idea of things but often not the deeper meaning.

And disorganized! I needed to sew a button on a pair of pants I wear to work often but could not find a needle anywhere in the house which is ridiculous because I know there's a pack somewhere and also a small sewing box. So I wore them to work with a longer shirt over it, nobody would notice the missing button but I knew it wasn't there and that drove me crazy all day. Speaking of clothes for work, mine need updating, they're getting a bit raggedy. We don't have to be very dressed up, but no jeans or seakers. Nice, casual type clothes.

I've been listening to Seether, love the guy's voice. Have also listened to a couple of country singers, can't remember their names but they're fairly new and nominated for several things. Usually I don't listen to country much except for a particular song here and there.

I'm bored...can you tell?

Here's a wonderful thread on one of the boards concerning what will happen in Inferno. I have no idea if they're true but it sure makes an interesting read!

I have to have that book...

Okay, during the circus that will be my day tomorrow, when can I slip away and find the nearest store containing the latest Harry Potter book? It is just the dose of medicine I need for my aching brain.

My other half will not be at all understanding...the fact is he's highly jealous of my books and my writing and just about everything sweet and good in my life. He's a pod person from Mars you see. Or maybe he was grown in a jar somewhere but really he has no useful imagination concerning anything beyond his own nose. I don't know how I ended up with him...

I'm tired...

Oh my, darth_caedus is woefully behind on her reading and her writing due to conflicting jobs and interfering family members. Unless I get laid off from work or something, I don't think I'll finish my reading list...let's give it two years, yeah, that sounds better.

I'm tired. I mean really tired. My body's tired and my brain's tired of dealing with other people. Think desert island...hmmmm...do you suppose Jack or Will would be there? No, Will can't come on land can he, not for years. It'll have to be Jack.

Reading Star by Star again...

I'm re-reading Star by Star. Or trying to the past couple of days. It's much better the second time around. As a matter of fact, I think I must have skipped over some parts or had my mind elsewhere at the time because I don't remember some of it. I think the book is actually well written, better than some of the others. I was always kind of mad at the author because of Anakin dying but now know it wasn't entirely his fault
